Why Do We Crave Sugary Food?
There is something about sugar which pops us and keeps us again and again. If you are reading this it is highly probable you know, and possess firsthand experience, of the allure. Sugar is not only confectionary, it is compulsion; yet there is not any such thing as quitting after"one" At least that is what it seems like using the sweet things. We're given many causes of our sugar cravings: pleasure-seeking brain circuits, intestinal ailments, nutrient deficiencies, malnutrition, habitual behaviour, unbalanced diets, too much salt, and buried psychological problems, lack of sleep, anxiety.... And my favourite, absence of discipline. We're not in a loss for reasons because of our addiction to sugaryet understanding is not sufficient to change our behaviour.
